Homework from Friday Night 08-13-2021
Political, social, physical, financial, and other areas are major focal points of most people while they’re alive and how these areas will affect their loved ones after their death occurs.
Unfortunately, these items are the ones most often on the minds of people – not eternity.
The greatest fear is death and we fear what we do not plan for or understand well.
We are living now, in time, to live again, in eternity.
Take each of these points into prayer – asking God to help you prepare now for your end. Why?
Homework from Saturday Night 08-14-2021
“So teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom."
Psalms 90:10-12 (KJV)
Number: count, with the intention to allot (allocate, assign); weigh out
Since we don’t know how long we have left on the earth, we can ask God to teach us to assign all we need to do in each of our remaining days. This is wisdom, and it pleases God for us to do so.
(This is also this lesson’s homework)
Sometimes, looking at our end helps us to appreciate and be motivated to be faithful, from now until our passing.
Homework from Sunday Morning 08-15-2021
When you think who you are, your life’s errors will be few. Why? When you think about your role in your family, church, work, community, etc., along with the integrity of who you are, and the respect given to who you are, you’ll immediately refuse even the notion of temptation to sin or error. Instead, you’ll direct your energy to
accomplish a part of your purpose.
(This is today’s homework.)
Who you are and who you are to become both depend on you thinking you are at all times - until the day you die.
